DANNY BIRLEY

Owner & Director-Plumbing

Heating Engineer

Danny founded the business in 2006 and has over 23 years experience in the industry as an engineer for both domestic and commercial work

After completing his plumbing apprenticeship at York college and working for 2 local businesses within the Scarborough area Danny decided to start his own business and start his dream venture

He oversees everything that goes on at DPB alongside going out on the road as an engineer carrying out installations, servicing and breakdowns

REBECCA BIRLEY

Owner & Director-Accounts Manager & Content creator

Rebecca, Danny's wife is the companies accounts manager and has been involved in the business since its launch in 2006.

She oversees all the financial activity within the company and manages our customers Monthly accounts while keeping them up to date with any offers we have available 

She also carries out the companies marketing strategies across various social media platforms 

Gathering feedback from our customers for works we have completed to ensure our engineers are always maintaining our companies high standards 

ROBERT PINDER

Plumbing & Heating Engineer

Rob has been with us since June 2007 and carried out his plumbing apprenticeship at York college and went on to obtain his gas qualifications

Rob carries out our installation work for bathroom suite and boiler installations and completes all work to the highest of standards

He has been an important part of the expansion of the business 

 

LIBBY BIRLEY

Administration

Assistant 

Libby works part time as an office administrator and works alongside our office team

She assists in the scheduling and planning of jobs

Dealing with customer enquiries online and over the telephone 

LOUISE GRAVESTOCK

Office Manager

Louise is the office manager and her role in the business is answering the phone and taking messages, invoicing of clients, quotations, purchase orders from our suppliers, scheduling of works for our engineers and liaising with clients along with keeping our engineers on their toes making sure the business runs smoothly and efficiently keeping our service times as quick as possible 
Louise has many years experience in administration work and is a valuable asset to our company 

EMMA BENTLEY

Office Administrator 

Emma's role in the business is working in administration alongside Louise, Rebecca and Libby

She undertakes daily tasks from taking bookings, planning and dispatch of jobs to our engineers and management of our homecover database ensuring the business meets our customers high expectations of first class customer service 

SEAN LEWIS

Heating Engineer

Sean's responsibilities in the company include all plumbing and heating-related repairs and services.
doing annual boiler maintenance and focusing primarily on the Homecover side of the business.

An skilled engineer, he is a significant value to us whether working alone or with the team.

JAMIE PICKIN

Gas Service &

Breakdown Engineer 

Jamie's role in the business is all aspects of plumbing and heating, repairs and servicing

Carrying out annual servicing of boilers and working mainly on the Homecover side of the business. 

Working alone or alongside the team he is a real asset to us 

SUE WATTS 

Administration Assistant

Sues role in the business in working in the Homecover department.

Contacting clients to arrange annual servicing, book in breakdowns, handle claims and making sure we keep our efficiency as good as we possibly can ensuring nothing is ever missed

ALFIE HOLDER

Trainee Plumbing & Heating Engineer

Alfie is employed as a trainee 3rd year plumbing and heating apprentice who is currently learning at York College

His role in the business is currently assisting our engineers on site while learning at the same time.

Upon qualification he will become a fully qualified valuable member of our team 

DANIEL VIRR

Trainee Plumbing

&  Heating Engineer

Daniel is Training to become a fully qualified plumbing and heating engineer who is completing his apprenticeship with the company and will gain City and Guilds levels 2 and 3 along with becoming Gas Safe Registered upon qualifying

His role is the business is to assist our engineers on jobs and carries out a variety of installation jobs by himself.

He's doing exceptionally well and is a valuable member of our team and is sure to be a great asset to the company once qualified

LUKE BULMAN

Bathroom Installation engineer

Luke carries out installations of new bathroom suites and project manages jobs for our clients, ensuring the whole process runs as smoothly and efficient as possible.

Bringing in the contractors as and when needed.

He also carries out all general plumbing and heating duties. Luke has a wealth of experience in the plumbing and heating industry and is also very knowledgeable in other areas of the trade industry.

A great problem solver who also has excellent people skills and a real passion for providing quality workmanship.

He is a very valuable member of our team.

Cooper Paddock

Plumbing and Heating Apprentice

Apprentices gain hands-on experience by working alongside skilled heating and plumbing technicians.

This includes learning how to install and repair various types of heating systems and plumbing fixtures.

Apprentices assist in installing heating systems like boilers and radiators, as well as plumbing fixtures such as sinks, toilets, and pipes. They also learn to perform routine maintenance and inspections.

Compliance with Safety and Building Regulations: It is crucial for apprentices to understand and adhere to safety protocols and building regulations related to heating and plumbing work.
